Q1. How do I become involved in CRAIC activities?

A1. Just use the contact details provided on the Contact Us page and we will contact you, or come along to one of our events and chat to any member.

Q2.  Do I need membership?

A2.  No. No membership is required, but persons under 18 years must sign the medical questionaire and the Consent for use of images and recordings as promotional material.

Q3.  Can I enrole in classes?

A3.  Classes commence first week in October and you should contact us to enrole before that date if possible.

Q4.  What age does my child need to be?

A4.  CRAIC is open to all ages, however you should discuss with the tutor if you wish to enrole in lessons.

Q5.  Do I need to be present during all CRAIC avents.

A5.  CRAIC is a voluntary organisation and its committee members are accredited for child protection, however, CRAIC is not a youth club and encourages parents and guardians to be present at events to ensure family participation. Should you not be able to be present you should at least  arrange for another parent to mind your children.

Q6.  Is CRAIC like Comhaltas?

A6.  In many ways we are, but we are a cross community organisation that welcomes all kinds of music that is traditional to the Strabane area.  Our classes are exclusively for traditional Irish types of culture, but anyone is welcome to come along to our sessions and perform alternative similar genre traditional to the area. eg, folk, bluegrass cajun etc:
